Your impact on Climate Change

I heard a rumour that the big oil companies had invented the concept of a carbon footprint to get them off the hook and push the problem towards the individual.

Even if they did…we still have a responsibility to do everything we can to change our lifestyles to be kind to the planet. We can’t wait around for the leaders to take hard decisions that will affect their electability  (with the exception of dictators who quite frankly don’t care). Yes, big differences can be made by deciding not to open new coal fired power stations but don’t underestimate the power of consumers. If we refuse to buy it, then it won’t be sold.
